WORKSHOP TRIMMING & TROUBLESHOOTING: THE FULLY FINISHED VESSEL
For those of you with some wheel throwing experience, I will be teaching a one-day workshop at Laguna Gloria:
It is happening soon on Saturday, 23 September from 10-4. You can bring greenware that is leatherhard and ready to trim, and feel free to bring a form that has given you trouble - we'll find a solution. I'll have loads of ideas and techniques to share and will bring several pieces to demonstrate on.

This one-day workshop will cover both handbuilding and wheel throwing a platter, with ideas to develop a decorative finish. I'll show ways to combine techniques to create large platters, the use of household items as forming molds, and ways to add color without needing to dip into a too-narrow glaze bucket. Students may leave their work to be bisque fired at the Art School.
