Porcelain clay is wheel thrown, textured and trimmed. “Churning Sea” texture is created via hundreds of jabs for a tactile experience. Interior is glazed to be food-safe and easily washable; on exterior, white caps of hand burnished terra sigillata (a super-fine clay slip) and shades of Ocean blue complete the look. Slightly hefty wall thickness helps to retain food temperature, hot or cold.
