Porcelain clay is wheel thrown, textured and beautifully trimmed for a full 3-D finish. “Churning Sea” texture is created by hand via hundreds of jabs for a tactile experience. Interior is glazed to be food-safe and easily washable; on exterior, white caps of hand burnished terra sigillata (a super-fine clay slip) and shades of sea green complete the look. Proportionate wall thickness helps to retain food/ drink temperature, hot or cold.
